Sandy’s Land established the Detroit Doll Show to encourage girls of many hues to “Love the Skin They’re In” and this of course includes their hair. This one time event has morphed into an annual celebration of culture, history, doll artistry and empowerment with the use of dolls of color.
Coined as the “largest doll show in the Midwest of its kind” we take pride in providing a day filled with interactive activities and hosting some of the most outstanding doll artist world wide. We’ve had doll artist from Chicago, Ohio, New York, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Baltimore, New York, and Ontario Canada to participate as vendors at the Detroit Doll Show.
As the Detroit Doll Show has grown with attendees and vendor participation we have made the decision to move to a new venue that provides FREE parking and it allows all vendors to exhibit conveniently in the Ballroom.
