Largest Doll Show in the Midwest



The Detroit Doll Show has been coined as "The Largest Show of its Kind in the Midwest!" We have Doll Artist, (Doll Markers), Maufactures and Stylist from New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Ohio, Minnesota, South Carolina, Michigan, Tennessee, and Ontario Canada to participate.

Our mission is to celebrate history, culture, beauty and boost self love with Dolls of Color. The program includes doll look alike contest, workshops, speakers, interactive activity, arts & crafts, raffle, auction, presentation of the Doll Legacy Award to individuals who have created services or product that empower women and children.

Friday, November 10, 2017 - Masquerade Party - 6pm to11:30 pm Mini Exhibit, Mingle with the Doll Artist, Presentation of the Doll Legacy Award, Delicious Food, Music, Dance and Entertainment.

Saturday, November 11, 2017 Doll Exhibit -  12 noon to 6:30 pm - Doll Look Alike Contest, Arts & Crafts, Doll Workshops, Auction, Shop Til You Drop, Entertainment and Special Guest.

Reborn Dolls and Doll Therapy

Reborn Dolls have gained much popularity. These dolls look and sometimes feel like real babies and or toddlers. Often times people purchase these dolls to cope with the loss of a loved one, to deal with being an empty nesters,  help to ease the pain of losing a child or provide comfort to a woman who can't birth a child. The reasons may vary but these dolls serve a purpose.

Statistics show that Doll Therapy or "Cuddle Therapy assist patients with Alzheimers. Interacting with dolls help to ease anxiety and bring joy to those who suffer from dementia.

Whatever the reason, it is a fact Dolls can help the Young and the Season individual become Happy and that's important for all human kind.
