Stacey
worked for Mattel Inc. for over 14 years where she designed for the Disney
Princess, Career Barbie and she created the
"So In Style"
first African American line of Barbie’s released in 2009. This collection
consists of dolls in a variety of skin tones with fuller lips and nose,
distinctive cheekbones and different hair colors and textures. Ms. McBride-Irby doll designs ignited a positive change with dolls of color in the U.S.
Stacey
also designed the first African American Greek Sorority doll, the Alpha Kappa
Alpha Barbie celebrating their Centennial year.
This
dynamic woman has been featured in Ebony, Essence, Heart & Soul, LA's
Beauty Beat, Upscale and on the front cover of the Wall Street Journal personal
Newspaper and she been featured on a host of Television Shows and News Program throughout the World.
